From the population of undergraduates in the three randomly selected federal, state and private universities located in the state capital, random sampling technique was used to sample a total of 645 respondents out of which only 409 said they felt socially deprived. Data was collected using a questionnaire instrument which had four sections. The collected data were analyzed using percentages. Findings show that 65.36% of undergraduates in federal university, 81.81% of that in-state university and 40.21% of the private university of the three types of the university said they had been deprived against in all areas of their lives.
