O.2022-01-112022-01-112017https://uilspace.unilorin.edu.ng/handle/20.500.12484/7379The study examines the effects of information and communication technology (ICT) in the University of Ilorin library, llorin, Kwara state, Nigeria. A case study research method was adopted. The major instrument was questionnaire while interview and observation were used to complement it. The sampling technique method was simple random. The statistical analysis used in analyzing the data are percentages and frequency counts. The findings revealed the automation of library has reached 70% while ICT in use includes the internet, OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogues) and CD ROM facilities. Most of the library staff have undergone computer training.
