Survey research design was used to conduct the study where copies of questionnaire were administered to obtain data from 363 adolescents within the age group of 13-17 in secondary schools. Results indicated that majority of respondents’ motives for sexual expression on social media is to derive certain information on their personal preference. The study concluded that, adolescents in Ilorin metropolis use social media for sexual expression to gratify informational needs.
