As a result of this, this study investigated the influence of Islamic Studies literacy on academic performance of Junior Secondary School students in Saki, Oyo State, Nigeria. The purposive sample technique was used to select three hundred and ninety Islamic Studies students and thirty five Islamic Studies teachers as samples. Relevant data were collected from the respondents, using a carefully designed questionnaire. Three hypotheses were formulated for the study, and data collected were tested through the use of Pearson Product-Moment Correlation Statistics. The study revealed among others that, there was significant relationship between Qur'anic school and performance of students in Islamic Studies.
