This research therefore examines the factors that guide an individual's choice of residential location in llorin city. It examines the various geographical, social, and economic factors of residential location choice. To achieve the aim of the study, 157 respondents were sampled using multi-stage sampling approach. The data collected were analyzed using descriptive techniques which include tables, cross tabulations, percentages, chart and the chi-square. The results show that various factors such as; income, security, distance, availability of social amenities among others were considered by respondents in choosing a place of residence. The result of the Chi-square analysis reveals that there is no significant relationship between income and distance from home to work.
