In the late 20th century, the first law providing for marriage of the same sex in modern times was enacted in 2001 in the Netherlands. As of 1 January 2016, fifteen countries allow same-sex couples to marry. One of the most volatile and important issues facing the Church today is the question of Gay Marriage. Apparently, its practice has existed for centuries. Several approaches have been employed in determining its foundation and causation, much of which have only led to further controversies. The rapid rise in the advocacy of Gay Marriage and its consequent legalization in many countries of the world not only by the Gay radicals but also by persons within the church, have made it imperative for the church to voice out on her tenets and beliefs. Historical, exegetical and sociological methods are adopted in this paper. This paper has enhanced a comprehensive understanding of the plights of Gay Activists and as well, the biblical stand on Gay Marriage. It was also established that same-sex marriage is foreign to biblical injunctions, and unacceptable. While it is true that those with flair for the same-sex are in need of sincere help; it is recommended that the dangers of Gay Marriage be propagated in order to prevent many more from falling victims. It is hoped that the true intent of human sexuality would be recognized, practiced and pursued.enGay Marriage,Sex,CountriesA Biblical Appraisal of Gay Marriage Bill and Its Implications in the 21st Century SocietyArticle
