This study examined school health program as a panacea for ensuring safe school environment among secondary school students in Ifelodun LGA, Kwara State. The objectives of this study was to investigate whether adequate school health services will ensure safe school environment. Descriptive research design of survey type was adopted for this study. Population comprised all secondary school teachers selected across all the secondary schools within eleven wards in Ifelodun LGA, kwara state. Using proportionate and simple random sampling technique with a sample of 250 respondents selected. Researcher's designed structured questionnaire of Likert format rating scale, validated by three experts and tested for reliability through test-retest method was used for data collection. Pearson Product Moment Correlation was used to correlate the result and 0.84 was obtained. The three postulated hypotheses were tested using inferential statistics of Chi-square at 0.05 alpha level. The researcher concluded that school health services, school health education and healthful school environment will ensure safe school environment among secondary school students.
