This research adopted a survey research design. Simple random sampling technique used to select 100 staffs of the production department and human resource department in LUBCOM Nigeria Ltd. Questionnaires were used as the instrument of primary data. Data were analysed using regression analysis and correlation which revealed that job design has a positive impact on the production process with a significance level of 0.00 which is less than 0.05 and R2 value of 0.784, also that there exists a strong relationship between labour planning and production function with a significance level of 0.00 which is also less than 0.05 and finally the study finds out that labour standard has a huge impact on the productivity of employee with a significance level of 0.05 and R2 value of 0.769. The research findings indicated that proper job designs, effective labour planning and labour standard by the strategic human resource manager will improve the various production process, production function and increase employee productivity.
