Five research questions were raised in order to find out the use of e-resources for achieving intellectual freedom. Sample of 362 students in twelve faculties of two universities were r rrandomly surveyed. Data collected using questionnaire were analyzed using descriptive statistics. Results indicate that lion’s share of students are aware that e-resources are very good in writing academic papers, newspapers are the highly preferred print material, internet resources highly preferred, majority agreed e-resources encourage intellectual freedom and power outage is the major challenge in the use of e-resources.enArticle
