Five research questions were raised and three hypotheses formulated and tested at 0.05 level of significance. Survey research design was adopted for the study. The population of the study comprised people from Ilorin South L.G.A, numbering 2,820. A total of 220 residents constituted the study sample. The instrument used was questionnaire tagged Global Climate Change Questionnaire (GCCQ) and was developed by the researchers based on the objectives and research questions formulated.. The instrument has reliability index of 0.74. Data collected were analyzed with descriptive statistics, percentages, frequencies, mean and standard deviation. The null hypotheses were analyzed using Pearson Product Moment Correlation (PPMC) and t-test.. The results revealed that family members in Ilorin South LGA are aware of Global Climate Change and agreed human activities causes global climate change. (¯x>2.50). The results further revealed that climate change significantly influence health and adaptive Behaviour of family members (p<0.05). The results revealed a significant difference between male and female on influence of Climate Change on Life Styles of family members (p<0.05). The study concludes that global climate change significantly influence lifestyles (health and adaptive Behaviour) of family members in Ilorin South LGA Kwara State. Based on the findings, it is recommended that the health sector should identify major regional health hazards caused by climate change and develop risk-lessening adaptations.
