Ilorin, the Kwara state capital has experienced manageable inter-faith face-offs. The most recent of these face-offs is the Bishop Smith Memorial College social unrest of 2019. The rampage threatened the peaceful coexistence of the city hence, the need for improved conflict management. This work studies the causes consequences and resolutions of the current Christian/Muslim crisis in the city of Ilorin with a view to suggesting preventive methods to future occurrence. Historical research method was deployed the work using a combination of structured interview, statutory records and observations for data collection and analysis. Findings of the work revealed that the struggle for dominancy by Christians in the Christian Missionary Schools is a major cause of the Christian/Muslim crisis in the town and the respect for law has helped in mellowing the crisis. However, if the government should stand on the enforcement of its blue print on how grant-aided schools should be coordinated, peace in the various missionary schools could be extended to the town.
