Descriptive research design was adopted for the study. The target population consisted of all 3,100 teachers in 236 public secondary schools of the 16 local government areas in the study. stratified random sampling technique was used so select 50 schools out of the entire "236 schools. The schools were stratified across the senatorial districts in the stare. Proportional random sampling method was adopted to choose 300 respondents from the target population. A researcher designed questionnaire was used to collect relevant data, while a checklist was used to collect population from State Teaching' Service Commission. Pearson Product moment. correlation statistical method was used to analyze the date as 0.05 level .of significance: The finding, indicated a significant relationship between students' population and teachers' effectiveness. The study recommended the construction of additional schools and classrooms to the existing ones in Kwara State to decongest overcrowding of students in the affected areas.
