Literature were reviewed on productivity skills such as communications skills (listening, verbal, and written), analytical/research skills, computer/technical literacy, flexibility/adaptability/managing multiple priorities, interpersonal abilities, leadership/management skills, multicultural sensitivity/ awareness, planning/ organizing, problem-solving/ reasoning/ creativity and teamwork. Among the implications of productivity skills for community development in Nigeria drawn was that, it is important that community members communicate effectively. For through effective communication, community members are likely to understand themselves better which in the long run, the tendency to have higher level of harmonious co-existence is likely to be very high.
