Hence, this paper examined educational policies implementation in Nigeria: challenges and ways out. It explained education as the act of transmitting knowledge, values, and skills required for an individual to personally develop and able to effectively contribute to the development of the society which he or she belongs. Policy was discussed as a plan or programme systemically designed to achieve a specific goal. It elucidated educational policy as a systematically designed programme or plan put in place to achieve a particular purpose in education. Educational policy implementation was defined as the act of operating an educational policy in order to achieve the goal for which it is established. The paper discussed political instability, corruption, inadequate fund, inaccurate data and insufficiency of personnel as the challenges facing educational policy implementation in Nigeria.
