Random sampling and proportionate sampling techniques were used. A total of 100 respondents formed the sample size. Data collected were analyzed using descriptive statistics of frequency and percentage for demographic information and inferential statistics of Chi-Square (X²) was used to test the hypotheses at 0.05 alpha level. The finding revealed that: players muscle strength has significant influence on injury prevention (X² = 82.1 > 16.92;p=0.05), protective equipment has significant influence on injury prevention (X² = 89.9 > 6.92; P=0.05), player position has significant influence on injury prevention (X² = 41.4 > 16.92; P=0.05) The study concluded that muscle strength of players, the use of protective equipment playing position and foul play regulations influence injuries prevention amongst professional clubs players in oyo state.
